We were at the Orleans County Fair in VT yesterday and spotted five Sunline trailers parked on the fairgrounds. Too bad the owners weren't around to chat!

Spotting Sunlines & Business Cards

I also enjoy spotting other Sunlines and making contact with their owners. However, when no one is "at home" I leave a Sunline Owners Club "business card." They help spread the word about our Club. You can get copies of the "business cards" by going to (this forum) Meet & Greet - Sunline Club business cards.

I like Sunline spotting too. However, the spottings are much more rare in the SouthEast. I have seen only a few in the last year.

We usually walk through the campsite with Sunline spotting in mind and enjoy stopping and talking to the owners. Common ground is a good conversation starter. I especially like spotting older 70's and 80's models in good shape. There are a lot of them which is an excellent indication of the workmanship.

Leo & I were at Grass Point this past weekend and only saw one other Sunline (very unusual) and we never did get to meet the owners. Had grandson with us one time we walked by and a 5 y/o's patience did not allow us to chat - and before we knew it they had pulled out....so if it is someone on the forum....sorry we did not get a chance to chat!

What a Weekend!!!

mdfiregal talked to about a dozen SUNLINE owners at White Oak Campground in Strasburg/Quarryville, PA over the weekend. :!: Only one had heard about the club while doing a Internet search, but hadn't really explored it.

We passed four Sunlines coming home, three eastbound on Rt. 30 between Lancaster and York, PA and one Northbound on I-695 just before I-83 north of Baltimore. Anybody from the club?

I think this was about the most Sunlines we had ever encountered, outside of the Meet-n-Greet.

I was becoming comatose on the PA turnpike around 5:30 yesterday when a Sunline with University of Virginia stickers on the back window flew by me at about 70. Now there are 2 things that wake me up - Sunlines and UVA stickers (which we don't see many of up here). (our daughter went to school there) So, I waved to whoever it was. They eventually slowed down and I passed them, giving a thumbs up. They probably thought I was a nut, since I was just driving the Honda. It does have a UVA sticker on it...but it was really the combination of the 2 things that had me so intrigued. Then we both got off the tpk and headed north on 222. So, if that was anyone in the club you were VERY helpful in keeping me awake :)
