Gone Traveling
Greetings, long time gone poster but I still had a log in....my neighbor in NW PA near cook forest/clarion has a decent shape, not rotten or moldy Solaris (AT least I think its a solaris) about 22ft for sale. I checked it out 2 weeks ago as we are thinking of it for a 'guest house' on our wooded property. Does not appear to have or have been leaked in. PO took apart the front kitchen bench tracing a leak as they thot the normal PA cold icky weather window condensation was a leak - it was not, needs put together. We had a 24ft satellite, this is REAL similar in size and config...rear queen turned sideways bedroom with door, full bath with shower, potty and sink. normal kitchen with the front bench K table.
I will be there in about 8 hours and can grab photos and actual model number if anyone is interested - dunno if anyone still looks for these. The PO brought this up from MD when they moved here and bought a house my neighbor built for them up here. They are asking 3500 I think. personally, Im gonna shoot lower, it seems towable - they set it here a year ago, but Id want new tires on it, likely needs a battery or two...all the appliances are there but at present working condition unknown. I BELIEVE its about 30 years old, and is in good shape for 30.
Let me know and I will snap a few. DW and I are still in the working/thinking/planning phase cuz if we DID this as a boutique guest house, I still have to get out the dozer and clear, level and concrete the site and that costs money and retired/retiring people pinch pennies....
