Shenandoah River State Park M&G 2013

Hi Sunliners

The 2012 Shenandoha M&G was a lot of fun so I suggest we try this event again in 2013. The link to the camp website is :http://www.dcr.virginia.gov/state_parks/and.shtml .

I will tentatively suggest the dates of October 18,19,& 20 or the following weekend 25,26,& 27 2013 as a weekend for the event.

We'd prefer any of the first 3 weekends in October. Probably a better chance of being warm, and avoiding Halloween festivities. Maybe some other folks will weigh in on a preference.

One of the first two weekends would probably be better for us. Our daughter's birthday is that third weekend.

We had a great time, next year we will bring the bikes.

I vote for October 18th. My canoe club always shuts down its campground on the last weekend in October. This year, Penny and I dropped the Taj off at the camp on our way home so we didn't have to tow to Richmond then tow back to Remington, Va.
I'd love to do that again.

Penny had a good time, too, see?

We were sorry to miss this years M&G. Sounds like you all had a great time. In looking at next years calendar our vote would be for the weekend of Oct 4th. Thanks!

We would vote for the October 18th weekend, but at this point we are pretty much open for most any weekend in October. We will probably be planning a late-August through mid-September trip to New England this next year.

I heard from Hope & Richard yesterday. They are interested in next year's M&G and don't have a preference as to which weekend.

Lynn and I will probably be in Shenandoah National Park at Big Meadows Campground that weekend. We could come down for a visit on Saturday. We always go to SNP in the fall.

Dates were chosen at the bottom of page one as Oct. 11-13. This is Columbus Day weekend, so some folks may have Monday off and be able to extend their weekend!
