We just bought what we were told was a 26 foot Sunline camper….However I think it is actually larger as it is a T 2653…..I have located the vin # which is 1LC2S2M23YD275039, and I have been told someone on the site is very knowledgeable about finding info on the Sunline if provided with a vin #…I would appreciate if anyone could pass this on to them….I tried unloading info from the files on the site but somehow I had problems with Safari getting compromised by ASK when I had to go thru a series of steps to download the info into readable files…( I am not by any means a computer guru) ha….Anyhow the camper is coming along good however I had some water damage under the kitchenette in the large window area and am in the process of fixing that which constituted removing a bit of the OSB etc…Have it all ready but need to go to lowes for material …..Thanks…..Dave and Diana….

yep your right it is loinger. depending on the year it's either 27'10" or 27'11". that's measured from the tip of hitch to back of rear bumper.

…Yep , thats how I measured it….I've only pulled it a short distance…I have a F150 4x4 …Its a 4.6 but its super chipped..I pulled it home on a very windy day, ( luckily only about 5 miles) and had no weight dist hitch or sway control and immediately ordered the package….The truck has the tow package on it and I have pulled a corvette and trailer back and forth to Florida about 20 times and a dump trailer with tractors on it and large loads of manure etc….I now have the necessary hitch and I tried it out on another windy day and it made a tremendous difference,as expected…As soon as I get the kitchen done were going to Nicks Lake for a trial run….If it doesn't handle to my expectations , I'll set it out by the road and sell it and look for a smaller version…Hopefully a SunLine….However I drove semi's since NY had a Chauffeurs Class One, long before the change to Class A and I don't really foresee any problems pulling it with the F150….The title says it weighs 4776…We shall see…Thanks for the response….Dave and Diana….

The only problem with the weight the title weight is that's dry weight. Load it the way it's going to be when going camping then take it to CAT scale and check loaded weight. One way to reduce traveling wright is it pull without water, fill up when you get your destination. I carry about 5 gallons of just in case water. I would say a 4.6 is a bit small plus a 4x4 has less towing capacity than a 2 wheel drive.
