I just bought a 1988 Saturn. There is no data plate. I am thinking it is a T1550. Do I measure the box to get the correct model? Does the vin tell anything? Thanks
I saw pictures of these and the tail lights have a clear lens in the upper middle of the cover. Do these have backup lights?
Thank you. I wasn't sure. Where is the Vin located on these? I have a 1972 Lark for Vintage Camper events. It doesn't have a bathroom so this one will be nice for places where I need to be self contained.
Yes, some of the older Sunlines had the back up lights. Unfortunately they stopped adding that a long time ago. I do not know what model year they did the change.
My 1990 T1700 has backup lights many modern factory TV trailer connectors have backup wiring but it was for boat trailers with surge brakes more so than reverse lights. Frankly I'm not real sure how much good they are other than letting people behind you know you are backing up.
In a family campground type environment, with kids riding all over on bikes, I could see it being a big benefit.
