roof staining

I worked on cleaning the roof yesterday. It was cloody/rainy so it seemed like a good time to give it a go. I used Awesome, which was recommended to me here last year. I used a diluted mix to prep the roof and followed up with full strentgh and some elbow grease. Compared to last year, I was really surprised at how much staining remained after the full strength application. I am going to condition the roof when the weather clears off. Hopefully, the roof will last a long time in spite of the staining. I definately have to clean it more often......

I would do the roof atleast three times a year,that's what I have done on my roof since my sunline was new(using awesome followed by dicor)and my roof still looks like new(posted pics of it on here)If you keep doing what you are doing and do it three times a year more of them stains should come off.

Thanks, Ric. My prior coach did not have a rubber roof, so I am just now getting the picture of the maintenance needed to maintain one. I will take your advice and start cleaning it three times a year.

I think that the key is to get it as clean as possible and, when dry, coat the roof with Dicor roof treatment, as Rich said. The roof treatment tends to repel the industrial pollutants that come down with the rain and stain the roof and side walls of your Sunline.
