It's with great sadness that I write all of you with the sad news that LaRue Lengel has passed away.
For those who don't know, LaRue was in charge of Sunline's customer service throughout the '90s and right up until the end in 2006. LaRue used her knowledge of past and present Sunlines very effectively. She touched the lives of a number of SunlineClub members, myself included.
I first met LaRue in July 2000 when I went on my first factory tour. She embraced me being the enthusiastic little kid that I was, obsessed with Sunline trailers and even gifted me with my first Sunline snowglobe and some patches. Over the years since, we would email back and forth and I'd bombard her with numerous Sunline questions. I wouldn't know most of what I do today about Sunlines if it wasn't for LaRue.
