Hi,

Can you tell us the make and model of your fridge? And the year of the camper, make, and model number?

The older fridges in the Sunlines had a more mechanical control system, and the newer ones had more electrical. How to troubleshoot them, we need to know what you have.

A few simple questions: Assuming your fridge has both an electric and a gas mode of operation,

1. Does the fridge cool on either gas or electric?

2. Do any pipes in the back of the fridge (outside with the lower louver cover off) get hot when the fridge is turned on and trying to cool? (It may take 20 to 30 minutes for a pipe to start getting warm, pending where you feel for heat)

3. Do you see any yellow residue at the bottom of the fridge or near the gas burner area?

4. When was the last time the fridge worked, and when did it start not working? We are trying to establish a timeline for events.

5. If your fridge has a working light bulb inside, does the light turn on when you open the door? This tells us some things about the newer fridge control systems.

Please provide us with more information so we can help you better.

I hope this helps

John
