I just found that I have 2 rear broken frame bolts on my 03 T1950. The question is: did the forum address this problem and is there a repair for it listed?

Steve, there are 3 bolts that hold together the trailer box and the metal frame. The rear bumper is attached to the frame and the 3 bolts are by the spare tire, one is in center and one is by the gas hot water heater. The center and spare tire bolts are broken and the bumper now is lower on the spare tire side by about 1". I have not cut the underliner but it is easy to see and feel that 2 bolts with nuts are broken inside.

Hi Joe

H'mm are you saying the bolts that hold the floor of the camper to the frame are broke? And the bolts that hold the bumper to the back of the camper?

While the bumper bolts have been reported due to the weight of the spare tire banging back there I do not recall the floor bolts broke off from the frame.

Pictures really help in this case.

Question, other then the spare tire do you have anything mounted off the back of the camper?

Hope this helps

John

John, nothing on the bumper except the spare tire, sorry but a picture would not be easy to take looking up on the box frame under the bumper. Looks like a stop at a trailer repair shop. Thank you both Steve and John.
