Proper Sewer Line Drainage

Back when I used to be in the excavating business, I know how important it is to have proper fall the entire length of your sewer line. When we first started outfitting ourselves for the RVing lifestyle, it's easy to buy things that are just gimmicks. Then there are some things that are worth their weight in Gold.

After staying in too many campgrounds where the sewer lead is 5" out of the ground and you need to bring a series of boards and rocks to keep proper fall. We bought this item a few weeks ago, and What a Difference it makes for ease of set up of the sewer line!! These should be in everyone's storage locker and should almost come standard with hose kits.

It's amazing to me to see some people's hoses. I had to stop and take a picture of this one as I couldnt believe it when I saw it?!?! What was this person thinking when they set it up like this???

This other duct taped contraption was pretty good too!! How do they expect the sewage to get by that large droop in the line? I put an arrow where I'm talking about it. Ha! Ha! Do they actually carry a 8' section of 2x8 and a cinder block just so they can set up their sewer line? Think of the weight and space they're wasting?!?!

The $25 this item cost, is so worth it, that after one use, I feel I got my moneys worth!!

I agree 100% with you. It's amazing some of the set-ups you see.

I use a sewer support instead of the slunky. Looks something like this:

And it stores in my sewer hose carrier too. I've heard for people making a sewer hose support out of cutting a PVC pipe in half. Both the slunky and support work great in keeping it flowing .
