I was going through the production records in the past hour and found something interesting. There were apparently two different length 2499's in 2007.
From the beginning (which I'm not sure of, I'm assuming 5000) to approximately 6400, the length of the coach in the VIN is 25'. From 7000 to 7477, the length is listed as 26'.
The only early 2499's I have known are/were both at All American RV's, Farmingdale, NJ. It would be great if someone with one of these early ones could measure theirs, but I'm sure anyone with an '06 2499 will do.
The following members have the later 2499's:

If we could get measurements of both, that would be great. Remember they need to be overall, from coupler to bumper, but NOT including any racks or spare tires on the bumper.
