While searching craigslist, I happened across this poor Sunline..

Here's part of the description:

"Exterior original painting on all sides, making camper work of art and one-of-a-kind."

Work of art?!?!?!?!?! :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

Well.....the painting is nice.....That did take time and talent. However maybe just not on my camper.

It will be a one of a kind...

One never knows. That type of custom touch may take forever to sell or sell real fast.

That's one way to deal with fading and peeling decals. Oh wait, that only happens on the newer Sunlines, the '80's era ones I've seen have decals that are still intact.

And Jon thought they only did mod's like that in California! It doesn't look as bad as that zen-spa-retreat (or the one I saw that was painted like a cow), but I wouldn't want it.

I wonder if some CG's might even refuse entry to such a trailer. I know some are getting sort of uppity in there acceptance criteria.

Relisted with reduced price of $3000/obo on 8-9-10. The inside has been brightly painted too.

When I was in college, a local fartiste painted up his VW beetle, a la Peter Max. Of course he was too stupid/stoned to change the oil and do other mundane maintenance, so when the engine seized he attempted to sell it for $10,000 as a work of art. I'm sure it's somewhere at the bottom of the heap in Crazy Ray's junkyard.
