My Ghetto awning, a lot cheaper than a real one. 12'X10' tarp with 1/4" dowel in the track, a 3/4" pvc pipe on the outer edge, use 2 extendable tent poles and ground anchors with rope.

Set-up so I can fill my fresh water tank in reverse up the drain pipe (Stolen idea from Honda and his 1982) It is a quick disconnect coupling into a valved Y, one side into the city water connection for when I have hookups and the other side of the Y into the drain from the fresh tank

Very cool. Thanks for taking the time to post pictures. The decor took me back to our first Sunline in the '80's.

I may steal your awning idea. Our 83 T-1550 is missing the awning too. We were told "It blew off one day and we threw it away" by the previous owner. Maybe you can put together some directions. Do you keep it attached when travelling?

I'll write something up and PM it to you soon.

That is a neat little camper

Thanks for sharing.

And the 1/4" dowel trick, thanks. I have used 3/16" rope but the stiffer dowel might be a better solution.
