We would like to see amish country in Pa. Anyone know of good campground in that area or any other things of intrest in that area, resturants tours so on?

We like Old Mill Stream in Lancaster. It is very well maintained and friendly. Located right in the middle of all things Amish. It's on RT. 30, which is the main east-west route through Lancaster County.

There are a lot of campgrounds in eastern Lancaster County. Beacon Hill, Country Acres, Lake in Wood, Spring Gulch, Yogi Bear Quarryville, and White Oak are all reviewed in the Mid-Eastern section of the Campground Review section of the forum.

I've heard good things about Old Mill Stream, but I've always gone to Lake-in-Wood. I like it, it had a lot of seasonal Sunlines, is very shaded, and it's a pretty kept up park. I can't comment on the bathrooms but they looked older, though that was six years ago and it may have changed.

Shady Maple Smorgasbord in East Earl is a must-see place to go to see and eat!
