I have a 1979 12 1/2 Sunline and I would like to paint it . I don’t want to use Automotive paint because of the cost. Does anyone have suggestions on what type of paint to use and any tips?

I used Sherwin Williams Emerald Urethane Satin trim Enamel on my 2000 T2370 about 4 years ago and it’s held up well.
Used a short nap Wizz roller where feasible along with a brush for cutting in. I used a Pelican paint bucket from Wooster that allows you to cut and roll out of one bucket so it’s easier to keep a wet edge.
Like anything, preparation is the key.
I sanded, cleaned, and latex primed before finish painting.
