owners manuals for 2002 sunline solaris t280sr

The owners manuals are really a loose leaf binder full of component manuals, i.e. the furnace, stove, a/c, etc. There is very little SUNLINE specific info other than the build sheet (lists options, inspections, etc.) for that unit.

Look in the Files section for component manuals, also search your specific model equipment on the web for manuals.

You should be able to build a manual by printing from those sources.

How do I find out how big/how many gallons the 3 waste tanks hold? Recently purchased this beautiful used camper - loving it. Some of our favorite campgrounds don't have full hook-ups. Just wanted to get a visual of how much each tank holds. Anyone know?

Hi,

Congrats on your new coach! Glad you found us.

Follow this link to the "Files" tab on the top of the forum screen. That tab is a clickable link. In that area is lots of really good Sunline info.

Click into the Sunline Brochures area and down load a 2001 brochure. The camper water capacity is listed in the brochure. On the fresh water tank, the listed value is the entire fresh system capacity. To get just the fresh tank, subtract 6 gallons for the HW heater and approx 2 gallons for water in the pipes from the system capacity and that is close to the fresh tank size. The black and gray tank should be as listed.

Hope this helps and happy camping in your new Sunline

John

PS On edit, the newer T280SR's had 2 gray tanks. One up front for the kitchen and one in the middle area for the bathroom. I do not know exactl how they handle that in the brochure. If yours has 2 gray tanks, the brochure "may" be a combined capacity. Maybe Sunline Fan knows. As a worst case, there is 231 cubic inches of water per gallon. Measure the tank in cubic inches and divide.

I believe they are all published as totals. Mine was published as a 60 gallon total. I have three 30 gallon tanks underneath.

Hi Joemama48,

Welcome to Sunline Owners Club! Glad you found us and congrats on your Sunny.

We are here to help so ask away on any questions you have. Just create a new post for the topic at the time.

For a manual on your 2002 T280, see this post where we explained in more depth how you can create a manual for your camper. Some of the info is stored here on our web site while other info is available direct from the manufactures of the appliances.
