We were planning a trip to Nova Scotia and other eastern destinations this summer but a just announced family wedding will take us west. The wedding is in Portland Oregon and being a Lewis & Clark fan I can't go that far without going all the way to Fort Clatsop on the Pacific coast. Should be a great trip. We will probably go out a southerly route via Utah and return via Idaho and Montana.

We will do Nova Scotia next year. After that, our Sunline will have been coast to coast about as far as one can go.

We've taken our Sunline to Oregon, one of our favorite states. We love coastal road 101, part of what makes Oregon so interesting. Unlike most states Oregon owns an amazing percentage of their coast line, well worth exploring. If you travel the whole coast it's just a short hop to the redwoods in northern CA, a bonus highlight.

We've also taken our Sunline to Nova Scotia and all the ways thru Newfoundland, Labrador and Quebec. Actually Newfoundland is our favorite destination, just more rural than Nova Scotia with great Provincial Parks. Getting to Newfoundland is a litttle pricey because you have to hop a 6 hour ferry but well worth it.

Safe travels to Oregon
