Our New Tow Vehicle FREE

I saw that also about the furniture store and they weren't insured but this Ford dealer was insured. They are friends of ours and this is our 5th Ford from them.

Until last year this was probably a safe bet. Then last year Jacoby Jones returned the second half kick-off all the way.......cost a local furniture store around here about $6 mil in Furniture! Now it happens again this year.

The Texas furniture store was that the Broncos would win, not one of two plays being a touch down. Not too swift, 7 mil on a 50/50 bet.

Congrats on the truck.

Jim and Mary Jane,

WOW!!! Great for you!!! :D

You will be a happy camper!

John

Way to Go!!!!!!!!!!! At least this is more exciting new than watching the game!!!!!

Way cool - congratulations! Thanks for putting up the video link - it's nice to put faces with your name. (Only we didn't get to see Lord Bentley too! :D )

CONGRATS ! I have a 2013 F150 SuperCrew 4X4 with max tow pkg and 3.73 axle rated to tow 11,300 lbs. I haven't put the truck to that large of a task (nor would I) but it handles my 2007 Sunline 2753 quite well.

ENJOY !

My goodness.... I had to go look that up.

Yup, your right. The drive train maxes out at 17,000# GCWR. That is more than my 2003 K2500 Suburban with the 6.0 and the 4.10 rear axle....(was only 16,000) And then there is the Max Payload option with LT E load range tires available. Latest I heard the Max Payload option is not common on a dealers lot. May have to order it.

You have a good tool for towing your T2753 as Jim does for his T2499. These new 1/2 ton trucks used properly within their lower payload can make a good camper hauler.

Enjoy your new ride.

John

PS. Wonder when Ford complies with the new towing standards on the 1/2 ton trucks how much they will drop that pull rating. They are suppose comply in 2015 along with GM and Dodge and heard of an aluminum frame on the F150. Don't know about that yet.

Hi John,

I did a lot of research over a year ago on trying to find the right truck combination or set up to tow my 2007 Airstream trailer. Ford was in its 3rd year of the EcoBoost and the reviews were good. I hard a difficult time finding a Super Crew 4X4 F150 with the 3.73 rear, max tow pkg. and towing mirrors. The real hang up was finding one with the pwr. telescoping towing mirrors. There were readily available on the F250 & F350s but not F150. If I moved up to the 3/4 or ton truck, I couldn't get the EcoBoost engine. Rare combination. Getting 18 mpg solo and usually 12 with the Sunline 2753 in tow. First Ford I have owned in many years and I'm very pleased with my decision. Sold the very over-priced, high maintenance Airstream (another whole story) and replaced it with the Sunline in October. Hopefully, another good decision.

Thanks for all your posts and help to this group.

Harlan

Thanks Harlan, Yes I heard the towing mirror deal is hard to get too. Odd... and the 3.73 rear end is hard to get too. You did your homework well. Your T2753, another good decision. That is a very good layout and many have that model here on the forum.

Happy camping this year once we ever get out of this deep freeze deal....

John

I must be living right, this truck was sitting on the lot, it has the max towing package with the power towing mirrors and the 3:73 rear end. it has all of the bells and whistles, some we will probably never use. it also has the 6.5 bed which we wanted with the Ecoboost engine
