Ocean Waves Campground OBX NC

Anyone stayed at the Ocean Waves Campground in the OBX of NC? I am thinking about going there in the middle May of this year and was wanting some overall feedback about it. Wondering what the weather would be like there that time of year, cool/cold or luke warm? I know that it will not be summer time but trying to gauge if it will be warm enough to enjoy sitting on the beach without a blanket.

Hopefully in May you will be ok. But with the crappy weather we have all been having...

We have been in Fla since early Jan. and we still haven't taken our jackets off! Perhaps there is a tourist info site that will give you the info you want.

Sorry to hear about your experience in Florida, and yeah you are correct about the crappy weather. I keep telling myself Spring is just around the corner, then Ole Man Winter reminds me again that it is still Winter by escorting another cold front with snow. I am in the SouthEast and seen more snow this Winter then I can remember happening (at least in my time frame anyways). I'm still a bit undecided about OBX or Florida right now but kinda leaning toward OBX since I have not been there in quite a while.

Hopefully the weather will change for the better for you guys down there, or at least get back to a more "normal" environment.
