Notificatons inbox/spam ??

Can anyone tell me why some of the notificatoins I get from threads I'm subscribed to come to my email inbox and some come to my spam box.

not complaining or anything, just curious as to why differnt notifications come to the different boxs.

i would think they all would come to the same box.

I'm not 100% sure, but it may be due to the SOURCE email IP Address (one of the host IP's for the SOC site) being different from email to email.

You can try looking at the source code or properties in the emails showing in your SPAM folder and comparing them to the ones that show in your INBOX.

You can add the notifications from your SPAM folder to your ALLOWED list and they should come to your INBOX.

I don't know who you're using for email, but I just switched to gmail and am having a problem with that as well. I don't get notifications from this site, but from other things I'm having the same issue. One day Target will go to my inbox and the next it's in the spam box. I also had it happen with a bank, which was kinda scary.

I'm using yahoo for email.

I have the same problem with a BBQ forum I frequent as well.

Who knows.
