thank you all for such a warm welcome. I really like my "new" 83 t 1950. but I have found what appears to be a major problem. it appears that there is some wood rot in the cieling that extends into the closet and bathroom. i'm not afraid to tackle the repair job, but could anyone tell me how the cabinets and wall partition are fastened,so I won't damage them when I try to remove them?

Sad to say cabinets are screwed from the outside before siding is installed. You can use a oscillating tool and carefully cut screws from inside. Do a search there are posts dealing with repairing rot

Refrigerator Question

We purchased a "new to us" 1987 Sunline 18ft trailer last year. Only had the opportunity to use it once before we had to put it away for the winter and had full hookup at that time. We are attempting to find out a few things about the fridge. Any idea how long it would run on a 30 lb. tank of propane? About how long would it run on the battery? We have lots of parts brochures but not the actual manual that tells all the particulars. Thanks for any assistance!

That's sorta hard to answer. A refrig will only cool so many degrees below outside temp the hotter it is the longer it has to run to maintain temp also the reverse is true.
RV refrig. are different than household refrig. in that they absorb heat rather than produce cold.

Thank you for the info. I suppose it will be trial and error. As it is still cool here in WNY I suppose we will have to wait and see...if it ever warms up!
