New Owners/Members T-1661

My wife and I just bought a 1992 T-1661 and are very interested by the fervor of Sunline owners on this site. We are retired General Motors employees and the owners of two Soft Coated Wheaton Terriers who love camping as much as we do. (maybe more) We have recently been tent camping, though both have life experience with TT's and motorhomes.

We decided to get a trailer again to minimize the hassle on tenting and found a cute little 16 footer in great condition. Since we don't need a lot of space we opted for a lightweight that will encourage us to travel more and worry about trailering less. That said, any thoughts or encouragement from fellow Sunline owners and camping gluttons is greatly appreciated!

We look forward to this forum and promise to offer our observations as we tour first Michigan, and then, more prolifically throughout the U.S.

Welcome! You'll find that even past Sunline owners tend to be fervent Sunline fans. But of course, it's the people that make this site rather special.

You'll find any number of persons ready with answers or support whenever requested. The experience and technical savvy of our members constantly awes me.

And for starters, check out the MI M&G in May. It's not as set in stone as the Buttonwood one, but hopefully it can come together in the next couple months. I have to go check out the campground first to see if it would be good for a M&G.
