Hi gang,
My wife and I just brought home our new (very used) 1986 Sunline Classic Satellite T2261. We're upgrading from a 1970 16' Shasta LoFlyte that we remodeled a couple of years ago (It's for sale!). We needed the extra space for our very active two year old son. Our "new" Sunline needs some repairs, but all systems appear to be complete and functioning. It won't need nearly as much work as the old Shasta did. I'm looking forward to digging into the Sunline. But, first, I need to learn some more about it. It didn't come with any documentation. So, anyone who has a manual or paperwork for this model, please post up. I'd appreciate any knowledge and wisdom you can pass along. Thanks.

John

Hi John,

Welcome to the club and congrates on your new - to you - Sunline.

Check out the files page, the OEM Links post, and the Parts Suppliers post. They may provide some helpful information to you.

I have a 2005 manual that I can send you. If you want it, PM me with your email address. Not sure how much similarity in a manual there will be between a 2005 & 1986.

Good luck with the renovations.

Thanks for the offer Hutch. Let's wait to see if anyone has a manual closer to '86. If I don't find anything, I'll let you know. Thanks again.

John,

I have a manual from my '86 1550, but I won't have time to scan the whole thing for quite a while. In fact, it won't be until I'm done scanning the brochures. If there's a particular thing you need in the meantime, let me know and I'll get that for you.

Here's the link to the brochure for your coach:

Welcome John I'm the proud owner of a Sunline T 2261 and i love it, I have done some refurbishing and replacing, But for a 21 year old coach it ain't bad!!!!! And from what i read about some of the later model Sunlines, My 86 is a GEM!!!!! and theres photos of it on this site, :D

Hi John and Shari!

Interesting Update

Update:
I spent some time this evening looking our new camper over and I discovered something interesting. The layout didn't match the brochure picture of a t2261 layout exactly. There appeared to be an extra pantry. So, I got out the tape measurer and did some checking. It turns out that it's really a 2461, not a 2261. Wow, two extra feet, for free! It didn't come with any manuals or documentation and the Illinois title just says "Sunline Coach". The gentleman that we bought it from said it was a 22' and I just took his word for it. Is the model number stamped somewhere so I can check for certain? Does anyone else here have a 2461, so we can compare notes? Pictures would be helpful. Thanks.

John (former owner of a T2261, new owner of a T2461)
