Owners, friendly
Pets, ok
cable and wifi (wifi slow but works)
Full hook ups
the good-
kid friendly- concrete 1/2 court basketball
nice playground for toddlers
nice fishing pier
marina
snack bar
store
built in swimming pool
the bad,
gravel landscape
truck wheels for fire pit
I have not camped in a camper in NC before and just now starting.
I have tent camped at a great spot that has now closed. I may be biased as I am used to my favorite spot which had grass under my feet and the Dan river 20' to the east of my stone fire pit.
Nonehteless, if you have kids, plan on staying a while -they will have a good variety of things to do. Even better if you fish and have a boat.
The place is quiet and safe. If activities are the priority and the campsite is a place to sleep, eat and run, then this is a great spot.
If the view and your campsite is your priority, I would keep looking.
