I see they offer 2 differant white models. The tranlusent white or the White model. Which do you use?

I added a Maxx Air vent on my T-1950 last year. We dry camp and when it get's very warm inside and cooler outside, we close the door and all windows except the one over the bed and run on exhaust. Cools in two minutes. Great product. Installed easily. Hooked up the power to the light fixture directly toward the rear of the vent. The light in front is switched.

I've used the white. No real reason why, just have.

I have used the translucent white.

Why, personnel preference only. Figured it might let more light in. The only comparison would be the Turbo Maxx Fan which is in white. But that is sort of a different animal. So I have both

I do not know if you can go wrong with either.

Good luck

Hi Paul and Sheri
 What model Maxx Air vent did you use on your T-1950? Could you explain the light switch. Pictures would be great.

Ray, if you search on "power and vent" without the quotes, there are a number of threads about installing the various manufacturer's power vents. The one Paul is specifically referring to is: Vent Fan Installation

We have the translucent white Maxx Airs on our trailer. No real preference, that is just base version that our RV dealer sells for $22 each.

If it was up to me, I'd get a can of flat black Krylon Fuzion paint, and paint the inside of our Maxx Airs. For me personal, they let in too much light. But DW likes it like that so I go along.
