Hello Gang.
While i do not own a Q yet(Hope i still get some love in here) I will be Looking for one shortly. Currently I have a Viking Pop-up. I would Like to upgrade to a Que TT. I have a 97 Toyo 4 runner as a TV.. I hope to leave it out in the rain- so it will grow into a Sequoia. But i think that the Q will be first - then the bigger TV.

I'm still in good shape, but i'm starting to hate setting up the P/U. I see people pulling up in their TT'S I wish i could just"pull up" and just camp.. I have set up in the rain before it's ain't fun.
Don't even start me on breaking camp.

I'll listen out for Tips/Tricks. I find it very informative in here.
Thanks.

Thanks for the reply... I 'll start looking next month until i find one... I dont think it'll be that hard.. the prices seem to be coming down a bit and as folk move to a larger TT they will appear I dont minde used either.. as long as it's in good shape.
Thanks.

We just traded ours for a larger Sunline. It's in perfect condition - still has that new smell - & is at Stoltzfus RV in Adamstown, PA. (interior is forest green)

really?
Thanks for the reply. green huh? To be totally honest with you.. I dont have an interior inmind yet... green happens to be my favorite color too. but i know that there is a few different color combos out there. some look more contemporary than others.
anyone know where i can find all interior colors? so that i may make a decision?
thanks for the reply

Gig,

Yes, that's Pam's old Que.

As for interior colors, there were four to choose from for the Que. Check the Que brochure on the files page of this site for swatches:

- Forest (Dark green)
- Country (tan)
- Beach (Blue)
- Oasis (Dark red)

Boy you guys are fast in here!!
i'll bet it wont be when our season rolls around again(i'm in ny) everyone will be out camping!
thanks for the color tips i'll have a look right now... I did see one dealer here in NY who had one when the que was new.I cant remember the coloe inside , but it was vey contempory looking... kinda what you dont want camping but i liked it.
thanks again

Yes, that's our old QUE :( I love our new big Tweety (that's our 2753's name) but I am still nostalgic about QUEtSE. I'm sure our salesman Lee would be happy to talk to you about it. He's a low pressure (no pressure really :) kinda guy.

Thanks for the reply.
I wish you two all the good luck in the world with Tweety.it's just me so a step up from P/U would be ideal. I think i'm going to research the color interiors the green(forest) is nice, but i want to see if i can find some of the other colors too... I dont want to jump on the first one i see.(it's tempting not to)
I cannot help but say the the QUE reminds me of a landscapers utility trailer. When i look at it I expect someone to jump out with a weed whacker.. dont get me wrong i love the trailer , but that what i see. I guess maybe because of it's shape. I saw a local one here on LI yesterday, but i did not get a chance to go look at it. it was behind a fence, i'll go back today and see if there is anyone home.
thanks for all of the replies...

Gig,

If you can get an idea of what color you want, let us know. I'll do my best to keep an eye out.

With that said, the coaches in Beach are very hard to come by, but the other three are readily available.

Gig,

Let me see if I can help you. Here's pictures of every Que interior in each of the floorplans:

Jon,
Thanks for the reply. Beach Huh? i'll have to have a look at all of them to make a decision.I remember when my local dealer had one I was not interested in one at all, But now i kinda am. I think i might be done with the P/U.. noting against it call it a natural progression... but i think this is where it will stop(same thing i said about the p/u)
Go ahead laugh it up.... I'll wait till you all done.....
thanks for all the help.....

PS. thanks for all of the color s... this is what i was looking for. i think the color the dealer had when i first stumbled across the Que (when they were brand new and commanding top dollar)was the oasis color.. to me it appears to be the most contemporary. could also be the options that it had in it.

I also noticed that some of the SL'S have numbers after them, like some sort of part or model number, Normally a 4 digit number do the Ques have the same thing?
Thanks

What number's are you talking about? The model numbers? For example, the T-1950 is a model number. The Que's are only 5.4 SE and 5.4 RE, but they were sometimes referred to as the T-5.4 SE and T-5.4 RE by the manufacturer when they were still around. The letter "T" stands for Trailer, along with "F"'s for Fifth Wheels, and "C"'s for Truck Campers.

If that's not what you're referring to, then it must be the production number. I have been collecting VIN's and production numbers (last 4 digits of VIN) and putting them in order to see how production went. For example, if you look at the link to the first picture, you'll see I put the production number of that coach so I could look it up for more pics if need be:

http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o311/SunlineFan/SOC/Misc Units/Que Interiors/7019-BeachRE.jpg

You'll see the Beach RE is number 7019, which translates to 1LC2S3G117D177019. This also happens to be Capt.Ken's from this forum.

Thanks for the replies,
I guess that it then. I thought they had something to do with a part number like in other trailers. But if the Que does not have one- then it dont. I was reffering to the "T" number.... I did notice that other trailers have them so naturally i thought Ques have them too.
Thank you for straightneing me out on this one. When i get mine i'll be sure to give you all my info So as to help complete your ongoing list. I'm glad the Ques have a simple number or two really.... makes it easier for me....I also thought it might have to do with availiable options.
Many thanks!

All,
I forgot to ask... does anyone have or know of (first or 2nd maybe even 3rd) hand experience on whether the SE is a better choice RE? One thing is that i'm guessing is it might be personal choice. Would that make a difference on where the bed is? or is the bed in the main section of the unit after you chase out all your guest? I'm going to look at a local one tomorow i'll let you know how i make out.
thanks again...

I think it's personal choice. I didn't like the closed in feeling of the RE as much as the open feel of the SE. Your bed is made by pulling the sofa out, so it's in the front in both. The QUE is a really great unit for one person. In the RE you could leave a section of the U shaped sofa made into a bed and still have ample places to sit. That would be a big bonus. In the SE you could do the same but then would only have a small area for sitting.
The other contrast is the size of the kitchen is bigger in the SE. It just depends on your priorities. We also came from a PUP, and not having a place to sit in the morning while DH slept in got old. We always joked that if we each had our own QUE that would be perfect :)

Gig,

I agree, I think it's personal preference. I know I don't have all colors with the bed pulled out, but I know I have some. I can post those later this afternoon, if you'd like.

Jon

Gig,

Here's the pics I promised. These are truely an indication that I haven't found many Beach's. I have all other interior colors with beds out except the Oasis RE. Also, I have with the Country SE and Oasis SE pics of the bed only pulled out half way, like Pam was explaining.
