JohnB's Special Sunline Quiz

It's appears to just be a YouTube video Rich.

It looks like a 1984 T-2751. I wasn't sure if it was 3350 instead, but the small vertical window in front of the rear door means 2751 vs. having the wider window behind the door in the 3350. Also, it's a 2751 vs. 2750 because of only one dinette bench having an outside storage door. I'd have to check my files to see if they really did put a door under each bench in production, so all I'm going on is the brochure.

We just got back from a 2 nighter at Round Top Campground in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. While traveling around the campground, we stumbled across this coach. It appeared to be a seasonal unit. There was a bicycle outside but there was never anyone home. I had to take these pictures on the sly and it was early Sunday morning after a rainfall. I didn't want to chance getting any closer to see if there was a model tag next to the door so there will be no confirmation of your guess. Sorry.

Oooh Dig! That's a T-360SR, the big boy at 37'2" long! Longest Sunline produced aside from a fifth wheel. It's very popular as a seasonal destination trailer, so you saw it in a very native environment. It's a classic seasonal site too- all set up but awning lowered all the way down, when the owners are away. I would sure be nervous with all the trees around, but I guess they don't have too many problems.

It's a 2000 or 2001. I couldn't tell from the pics if there was an anniversary seal by the entry door, that would give it away as a 2000. Interesting that this one doesn't have a sliding glass patio door, those were popular on 360SRs.

Sunlines like this as seasonals were all over Lancaster County campgrounds in the 1990s and 2000s. It was a magical time.

This one has the 2005 front decal, the 2005 fenders and most important is a toy hauler. Front bedroom, center kitchen and toy hauler area in the back, The Transport with the SE siding option. A 2005 T-2675

I was all excited that I recognized the toy hauler too. We bought our 2006 T-2675 last fall and are looking forward to taking it out to the Buttonwood meet and greet in a few weeks.

What's the SE siding option?

What's the SE siding option?

Smooth Exterior fiberglass option. It was optional on all Solaris floorplans, but standard and not labeled on Tran-sport, recent fifth wheel, and Que.

Fiberglass exteriors were first launched in 1997 as the Advancer package, almost like a standalone model. It became the SE package on Solaris in 1999.

I've had these pics on my phone for months but couldn't get them uploaded. Not much of a challenge since I'm including the ID plates but these were both fun to look at and I think you folks will enjoy them as well.

Why the "Classic" designation on the SR?

It's something they started in 2006 on all models from the 1950 to the 299SR. Rumor had it that the Que would be the design of the future, and the stick & tin design was a classic Sunline design. Also, the addition of the Ultra package was introducing a new level of luxury (leather interior and LED lighting), so the classic was the original fabric/wood interior like had been around for years.

For some reason, the classic designation was dropped for the full 2007 model year. Some 2007 models (like mine) still has the Classic decal on the back and the Classic name addition on the model number plate.

Interesting our 2006 has the classic decal on the back, but doesn't say it on the nameplate. Didn't know they added it to the nameplate.
