You might want to stay at Big Meadows CAMPGROUND (VA), Shenandoah National Park, VA. There are a lot of nice pull through sites and a lot more to do. More hiking trails with great views. Lots of wildlife in the meadow and in the campground. Big Meadows is at milepost 51.8 with a gas station, wayside store and a nice restaurant at the lodge. This is my favorite campground in Shenandoah National Park. Send me a PM if you need any trail maps. We are leaving May 19th spending three nights down on the Blueridge parkway, 5 nights at Big Meadows Shenandoah National Park and 3 days at Loft Mountain Shenandoah National Park leaving for home on May 30th.

What dates will you be in Big Meadows ? If you'll be there the nights of the 21 & 22, maybe we could make it down there. Also, what site will you be in ?

We'll be arriving at Big Meadows on Sat. May 22nd and staying there 5 nights then heading to Loft Mountain down Skyline Drive. We'll be at site F 201. F,G, and H loops are nice all with pull throughs. Bring a generator as it gets really cold at night!!! Hope to see you there!
