I write this with a heavy heart. The ole Sunline had a bad winter. Cover ripped in the back corner and enough snow and ice unknowingly got under there. The rubber pulled away from the corner and the roof leaked for who knows how long. With it already having roof problems, lots of soft spots. We were told about $3-5000 to do the roof.

So after all the problems I have had with this ole girl trying to give her a new better life I just don't think I and my bank account and swallow this one.. She's now home with a tarp over her while we debate what to do..

I feel your pain. The TajWeHaul (my 1995 Solaris) had to be cut loose for the same reason, too much water damage. You've made the decision, put it behind you.
Now the fun begins. Finding your next trailer can be an exciting adventure. You already know what you want and don't want, what you need and don't need. Remember all those conversations y'all had about, "I like this trailer, but I wish it had ...."? Make a list of those things and get to looking.
We have fond memories of the Taj and share a few as we sit under the awning of our new Rockwood.

Yea we have a list of what we want. Still not sure what to do. I want to keep it and fix it and my wife wants to get something newer or new that we don't always have to work on. This trailer has been nothing but a project and I think she's at the breaking point.
We are going to a few camper places Sat., so lets see whats out there and if anything excites me.

Heartbreaking news Jay. I am so sorry ! Sunline or other brand, keep in mind the NE Meet and Greet this year !

Want to go look at a 2006 Sunline 289SR this weekend if I could get a call back.... Other than that my wife would like a new camper. After all the problems with the last 2 campers I have mixed feelings. Even some new ones have lots of problems.
So this Saturday we are going to 4 different camper dealers, it's gonna take us all day and all over the state. However after looking at web sites we have a list of stock numbers we really want to look at each ha ha.

One of the front runners we are looking at Sat. is a brand new 2013 Sunset Creek 267RL.

Well we made and offer on a 2014 Sunnybrook Remington 2650RBD. The dealer we went to has very little used trailers and offered $2250 for ours, even with my freshly patched roof job. He loves Sunlines! Another place offered $500 for it ha ha.
Now we are waiting on the bank for terms and payment amount on what we want to borrow.

So if the bank is good to us we will be one more into the S.O.B. family here.

Just a thought to try while you're shopping. I found such a good rate with State Farm (yes, the insurance company) that I re-financed both the camper and truck after only a few months with the original loans.

Our credit union gave us a 2% loan ion the new trailer so we were very happy with that! I will be picking it up in a hour!

That's excellent! I think State Farm was 2.25 on 10 years. Welcome to the world of SOB's Happy camping.
