*** IMPORTANT *** Tire Safety Story

It's not just replacement tires you have to worry about. My 2003 Chevy Silverado came with General brand tires from the factory. Within three years, the sidewalls were cracking and one did have a blowout while on an expressway. I replaced all four with another brand. This coming spring when the tax return arrives, I am replacing the passenger grade tires with light truck rated tires due to the extra weight of the Sunline. I have fellow campers who have done this and state that they have improved control when towing.

Oh yeah, you'll feel a difference.

Just remember that your unladen ride will suffer if you don't reduce your air pressure.

You can most likely get air pressure/ load rating charts from the manufacturer- only put in as much air as you need, up to the max. air pressure of the tire OR rim.

Both have ratings, which may differ.
