How do the cabinets attach to the walls?

I know there are not supposed to be any "stupid" questions, but I feel a bit silly that I can't figure this out on my own. I need to access the roof frame that is water damaged, and a couple of cabinets are in my way...how are they attached?

Not a stupid question at all.

Sunline, and most others, are built from the inside out. .. ..huh?

The wood frame walls are built first, put in place on top of the floor and carpet and then the cabinets are attached with screws from the outside of the walls. Then the siding is put on. Removing cabinets is a pain in the .... whatever...

What that means on this forum is that we never consider a question to be "stupid" because ALL questions are something a person doesn't know and is seeking to learn an answer. We all constantly learn from others here.

OTOH: I have been know to give stupid answers and fortunatly there are people here to correct that.

Yep. Sunline did that because it really helps with the structural integrity of the trailer. Essentially the empty square box is pretty flimsy, so putting stuff inside and using it as structural support really makes it solid. This one one big advantage of a Sunline over some other brand.

If you have a little cutting tool of some sort, you could try to slip it between the cabinet and the wall and cut the screws to remove it. You'd just have to find some way to remount it with mounting strips or brackets inside when you're done.

While cheaper than the rest, not the best on market it's ok for occasional use, this tool will work with a high speed plunge cutting blade to get behind cabinets to cut screws. take doors off first. Working from inside of cabinets as not to show scars on wall. Stock up on blades, they don't last long. To help extend blade life use in/out motion alowing blade to cool a bit. Over heating takes the temper out of blade causing it to dull faster.
