Help Us Out Here Please

Yes the stablizers you posted are like what was on my Coleman PU.

The Bal scissors ones are a step up. The Bal scissors are more for the heavier TT's.

So we are clear.... none of these are intended to hold the whole trailer up. Just to stabilize.

I am sure they might hold for a few seconds, if you lifted the front crank down  .........but after those few seconds, you would end up with a custom Sunline low-rider

Actually, when we arrived home from PA with our 1950, we were leveling it for the first time in our driveway. I looked at the tires on the far side and they were off the ground. So they will actually hold the entire side up. We immediately remedied that once we noticed it by lowering it and driving that side up on some boards.

DH used to think they would hold the TT up also......until I read him things over on that other forum, I subscribe too!

He listens to me....BUT.....

I've told him that they are only for stabilizing and now that is what he uses them for. We also use the Bal "wheel" stabilizer - ya know the one that goes in between the wheels......BUT for some reason I can't get him to use both....he thinks one does the job.....but when he comes to bed late, he is not laying there feeling the wiggle!!!!

More than a few spouses to convince Wot wot...

I see others have been spousally challenged too!

Ah yes, makes me feel a tad better.

I think the 4 corners plus the middle need 2 stands and four jacks especially on the biggies.

We saw a fifth wheeler next door to us in Topsail that had his shimmed up on about 3 ft. of boards. Looked dangerous as heck to me.

Now there are those handy-dandy chocks that help level. You can get them in various ramp sizes.
