When I wss a kid, my neighbor had a trailer, and a tricky spot to park it.
He'd back it in as far as he could, and then unhitch it. From there he'd get it turned and back into it's spot using a device on the A-Frame jack.
The device had two large round feet, and a bar between them. The jack sat on the the middle of that bar. On this bar were two recievers that could accept a handle (length of pipe). By pressing down or raising up on the handle and then moving forward or backward, 1 person could "walk" the trailer around.
Simple leverage.
I've looked but I can't find anything but a patent online for something that looks similar.
Have any of you seen one? Know what it is or called?
The trailer was a Prowler as I recall...
