I'd like to be the first to wish my many friends and SOC family the very best for this upcoming holiday!

Even when we think we have had the worst year of our lives, or illness plagued us, or the economy cut into our camping.....we have much more to be thankful for.....we live in the land of the free and we need to thank our servicemen who gave and continue to give us that freedom. We need to thank God for the wisdom He has given us....we need to thank our families for the love and support they have given us...if you think for a moment, you too can add something to be thankful for!

Bless you all....if you travel may your journey be safe, if you stay home, may your home be filled with the aroma of turkey, the warmth of family and friends and may it be full of laughter and good memories!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE - including our Canadian friends!!!!

Thanks Kathy!

I hope you, Leo, and everyone else on the forum has a great holiday!

To ALL our wonderful Sunline Family,

Gary & I would like to wish everyone Happy Thanksgiving. We are hoping to be on the road in a short while. Heading to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg, TN.

BUT at the moment Gary & my son are out under my truck trying to get a "shim ring" back into it's place. WHY ??? Well, Mr. Perfection thought he felt a "slight" vibration in my truck so yesterday he tore some gear thingie apart, got the new gears and was just putting the spacer back in place and it broke. That sent us on about a 2.5 hour round trip for a replacement part. So, I said OK we will just leave tomorrow and he said "NO WAY, we ARE leaving tonight" so I guess we will boon dock somewhere down I-81 in Virginia. SO, "if" they get my truck back together, we will hit the road sometime this evening. If we don't leave tonight, I will post an update later this evening, otherwise, I probably won't be posting until sometime tomorrow evening.

Every that is traveling please be careful, lots of loose nuts out on the road, have a wonderful Thanksgiving and don't eat too much, yeah right :)

Happy Thanksgiving, we hioe everyone had a wonderful day.

Gary & I left WV around 7:05pm and drove for about 4 hours, boondocked at a Cracker Barrel, Then had Thanksgiving breakfast at Cracker Barrel and back on the road. Now in Sevierville, TN just chilling out and relaxing in front of the fireplace.

OH, the truck fix, well as usual Gary fixed it right up, all is well. He said it was running great, it was not real happy with the hills BUT it didn't give up just slowed up a bit on the hills.
