Happy Birthday today to Jon (a.k.a. Sunline Fan).

I hope you have a great day.

I won't ask how old you are, but I'm sure you're in your early 20's :) .

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for the birthday wishes. I just got back from Florida in a marathon 22 hour ride in my new "birthday present" (check my sig). Just got back at 3:30 this morning.

Happy Birthday, Jon!! Hope you had a wonderful day!
Thank you for the information on the skid wheels. We had them mounted a few weeks ago. Now we just have to wait for the weather to warm up for our first trip in our new camper.

Happy birthday, Jon. I hope you are enjoying your new birthday present. I'm sure it will be a great companion to your Sunline.

Happy Birthday Jon

A ride in your new present. H'mm, Well that must be that monster TV you have. The Ex makes a good puller.

Us heavier SUV towers are now limited. GM droped the 8.1 in the K2500 and Ford dropped the Ex. At this point I'll tow mine till she dies or I end up with a bigger camper.

Are you lining it up for a newer larger Sunline?

Hope you day was good.

John

Since I don't currently have a trailer, who knows what might be in store in the future. I am only limited to 9800 lbs with the V10 and 3.73, but that same combo in my mom's '05 has proved to pull almost anything. It may not keep you at 70 up the hills, but it can sure keep you moving.

I know the X is a very big vehicle, but that's what I wanted. I think my mom was glad, even though it may cost her a little bit in the long run (hopefully I'll be successful in her paying for gas!), because I was getting very over protective of hers. In the future whenever the V10 quits or needs too much work to repair, I'd like to drop a diesel in its place. The body on this vehicle is immaculate, and could last many, many years. Since it was kept in nice warm (non-salty) weather, the underneath is almost brand new. I really wanted a diesel in the first place, but they get upwards of 30k. The previous owner of mine seemed really desperate for cash, so I got mine for less than half of that. This leaves me a little room to do some upgrades and repairs. On mine, I already took it to have the cruise control recall taken care of (N/C though) and replaced the mirror control because the mirrors wouldn't go down. I'd like to upgrade to the trailer tow mirrors ASAP (with chrome covers, of course!).

P.S. I really loved the white shoe polish on both rear side windows and the back window. It took a lot of time to clean off!

I could only wish I got it as a present 100%. I am stuck with paying for part of it. Does it even classify as a present when you have to pay for part of it :? . Oh well, I don't mind when I get a great vehicle out of it!
