Greyhounds in Gettysburg

Well, I'm headed out tomorrow after some stupid mandatory meetings in place of driving the bus (I'd really rather drive). I just have a few things to do before I can pull out of the yard. I will be staying at Round Top Campground site #204 in Gettysburg on RT 15.

I've never attended Greyhounds in Gettysburg so it will be a new experience for KD & I. There is a greyhound parade that KD & I will walk in with my Rescue Group, Fast Friends Greyhound

There is also going to be tents with many vendors, I see KD getting some new "Bling"

Well, I'm home from "Greyhounds in Gettysburg" what a wonderful gathering of rescued hounds.Super hot on saturday. KD got a snazzy new collar & leash, some treats, walked int the Parade of Hounds. And her dumb mommy discovered that KD needs booties when attending things on blacktop, so I will be bootie shopping for her. First time doing this, so things I had to learn.

It seems to me that KD needs to learn how to relax. She seems so hyper and active in those pics. Just kidding. Very nice looking pet. Had a goldie but had to be put to sleep. Am going to try to find a rescue golden. I love those dogs, actually any dog.

Thank you for the kind words, Joe. She is a 40 mph couch potato, except for when she hears a leash rattle. Perfect RV pet. Low shedding, no oily skin = no smell if wet, normally not barkers, very well behaved on a leash. Ah, life is good for KD (NOW).
