Goodbye to the QUEtSE

Pam

That is one nice looking camper!!! Thanks for sharing.

Glad you found what you where looking for. So did we.

Congratulations on your new coach.

John

John B...Steve is doing one of your water mods tomorrow so we can get to the last inch of water in the fresh tank!
Pat...It's not THAT big. As a matter of fact I justified the length to Steve by saying that Pat & Cindy's 2499 is 26 feet long but with the motorcycle hanging off the back it's probably 28 feet long too :) You guys were pretty influential in the model we chose. Cindy told me that we definetly need 2 separate areas to be able to get away from each other at times  Pat mentioned how it would be nice to have an area where the computer wouldn't have to be put away for meals. Pat and Steve seemed to both be antislide. I don't have your huge fridge or pantry though Cindy :(

Hi Pam,

Thanks for posting the beautiful pictures. I'm glad "Tweety" is staying. That was how I really knew it was you that I was waving to while going by on I-81.

Also, I'm very very glad to hear that "you" are driving while towing. I think it is important because you never know when the need to do so may arise. Easier to learn in a calm situation, than under a stressful one.

Now, "IF" I could only teach KD to drive and drive while towing  , err, on second thought, I think I'll just keep doing the driving/towing.

Ladies DO NEED to be able to drive/tow their rigs in case of emergencies.

My wife wouldn't tow the trailer even if I was injured. She doesn't care to drive the truck let alone the truck and trailer. Heck she actually tells me her S-80 is too big, and wants a smaller car. You guys that have wives that will drive are lucky. I really could have used a relief driver on the marathon trip to NH to get the fiver.

Glad it helps. And yup, you can suck down to the last quart before the pump sucks an air buble. Why they did not do that from the get go, I never figured out.

Good luck and hapy camping.

PS I see you did not use the bed room TV either.... Seems there are those that love em or can't stand em...

I drive!

Driving is shared by us. In fact, I drove most of the way home yesterday. I find it very easy to tow the Sunline behind the Expedition.

Hey Guys! There ARE truly women who drive! I am the sole driver in our duo..hubby does the navigating! He has towed maybe a total of 100 FEET! Including our motorhomes to..and we see many women driving in our travels...Janalee

That's great! I'm all for it. I logged a lot of miles driving a truck at work for about 8 years and I do see a lot of women driving motorhomes and towing trailers. My wife on the other hand, not so for it. I've mentioned it a few times in the past but she doesn't want anything to do with it. I think she may have moved the T-2153 with the Cherokee we had back then, but thats about the extent. Central PA has some of the craziest motorists in the nation, they can make anyone nervous.
