This isn't on a Sunline, but I hope someone can help.
When I unplug camper,The 12 volt systems stop working. The battrey is hooked up & charged. The system should convert to 12v. when unplugged.
It is a Series 6300A,Model 6345.
Can anyone help?

Inside the converter is a relay it should drop out when you disconnect from city power and apply power from the battery. The converter you have has two circuits one to charger the battery the other to supply 12 volt power while it's plugged in the relay disconnects the battery from the lighting and charges the battery If the relay hangs up the power will not flow from the battery to the lights often the contacts burn and hangs up the relay.

There could also be a battery disconnect switch. It could look like this:

The system should convert to 12v. when unplugged.

Whether the camper is plugged into shore power or not, the lights are already on 12v. When you plug the camper in, you are just changing where the 12v comes from.

One of the first things I did when I bought my T1700 was replace the converter/charger even though it worked fine. The older ones are very efficient battery chargers and will boil the water out of the battery if left plugged in long term.

Found the problem. There is 2 fuses by battery.Rust had formed & fuses weren't getting contact. When I pulled fuses they broke apart.
Thanks for all the help.

Of the two fuses that are by my battery, one is for the electric tongue jack and the other if for the house power. These fuse holders should be in a protected area but it is what it is. Congrats on finding the bad spot. :)
