Florida camping groups or rallys

Is there a camping group to meet here in central Florida? We belong to an awesome group that gathers a couple of times a year we meet thru a popup forum and now that we own a travel trailer looking for another group to join.

Hi Bejay and welcome to SOC. What are you calling Central Florida? There are camping groups in Florida and Google will find them easy. I don't know about any of them so if you find good ones let us all know.

I consider central Florida from Brevard county in the east to the Brooksville area on west coast down to the Okeechobee area. Our Popup club will hold it's Spring Rally at Highland Hammocks in your area March 22-24th, maybe you might want to join us. This rally is so much fun, lots of friends, games and a huge potluck dinner on Saturday night. Food, people are awesome.

So far no luck in finding other camping groups, but will let you know if we find one.

Carol, I live in upstate (between Utica & Watertown, about 1 hr from Canadian border) New York and attended the Buttonwood SOC M&G a few years back....well upstate NY now Rochester and the other in Old Forge...what I have found is if you decide to have one in a particular area, post the specifics, time, place, campground, etc....and you will be surprised at how many members will respond!

We have made many good friends and had lots of fun as the "Old Folks" with our popup rally group that we are hoping to find a similar group with TT. 2 rallys a year is not enough for us.

We are blessed here in central Florida to be able to camp year round (if you have a/c) and enjoy all our camping outings. Last weekend we spent in the St. Augustine area with family who had never visited our countries "oldest" city before.

C.J. Wish I could be joining ya.. Did not get the upgrades done on the recent classic find.. Next Jan will be a Go. .We use to live in melbourne ,Brevard co, with a newer Class "A" coach.

Thanks Split. We have camped in the Brooksville area before for a huge Civil War Reenactment. Fun. The March events conflict with already booked Rallies. We will definitely look into Tin Can Tourists.
