Hi folks,
We are booked into Carrabelle for the month of March, but with this weather, I am thinking it will still probably be too cold for the beach.

Is anybody aware of a campground/resort that is quiet, clean, close to the beach, inexpensive, friendly...that is closer to the south part of Fl??

Hi Ron & Alice,
We are in Pioneer Village North Fort Meyers, clean, quiet, friendly $925.00 a month, lot of entertainment, heated pool not to far from beach. Weather is not warm any where this year.

Hey Ron and Alice, check out John Prince Park. It's further down, about 5-6 hours from Cedar Key and right in West Palm Beach. Very good prices and has everything one would need to live comfortably

Great little park with a ton of snowbirds. Surrounded by a lake so you have tons of animals to watch and bike riding distance to the Downtown area of Lake Worth that has a nice, quiet beach

Although I dont know how warm it will be. We just had some friends visiting us in Cedar Key and left because they too wanted warmth. They called the next morning to tell us they might as well have stayed because the weather was the same down there. :?

Although I dont think that will stay the same, it's usually much warmer down in those parts of Florida this time of year, but this year is a strange one for the books that's for sure

Carabella is nice isnt it!

Speaking about prices, we are currently at Half Shell RV Resort in Satsuma, Fl. and we are paying $325/month. Yup! And that includes wifi, cable, 30 amp, free laundry wash (you have to pay $1.75 for the dryers). Sure can't beat that price, right?

Hmmm!

All of these sound good, but Ron & Alice may be winning the nice country place at a low cost award.

Actually, Sharon and I have developed a weakness for the west coast area of Florida.... Depending what your intent in RVing in FL is, we'd recommend the Ja-Mar Travel Park in Port Richey, Florida. It's a Passport America Park (7 day minimum stay any time of year!), and is an immaculately maintained, friendly place. It is a suburban park, however, and for us best suited for change-of-location kickbacks in the area of Tampa. Check it out on RV Park Reviews.com.

We're planning on 2 weeks there in mid-March.

Ok, thanks everybody!
We are now here in Carrabelle, and the park is very nice. They are changing all the sites to have cement pads, so that should be good after they are finished. The beach across the street is clean & deserted.

The only thing is, we have heard several couples complain that they have been asked to move 2-3 times during their month stay because they "needed the site for someone else". I don't think so! If we have to move, it will be to move right out of here!
