The wife and I purchased a sunline camper about 2 years ago and rebuilt the inside and repainted the outside. It had seville on the front and the title is 1984. Could someone tell me what it is by the vin# 1LC2S1G2XED162285. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to Sunline Owners Club!

Congrats on your Sunny!

To helping you figure out what model you have, from your VIN we can see this much.

The camper is a 1984 model.

The camper appears to be between 16 to 17 feet long, tow ball to the rear bumper. It seems to be more on the 16 foot length but it could be longer just less than 17'.

The camper has 2 axles.

I'm not the Sunline VIN wizard, but from what I know the model number itself is not within the VIN number.

That said, we have a 1984 sale brochure with all the model floor plans. Look at the top of the forum page for a tab called "FILES", When logged in, click it.

Then go to brochures and scroll to 1984, download the PDF file called "1984 Sunline TT/TC/FW" as there is also a 84 sales flier.

Assuming your camper has 2 axles, and is about 16'10" long, then the only travel trailer with 2 axles and less than 17 feet is a T-1670.

Look at PDF page 3, and look at the floor plan and see if it matches what yours was originally.

If you can't sort it out from that, post pics of all 4 outside walls and we can back into.

The Seville was line or trim package of campers they made. But I'm not sure what that meant back in 1984. The brochure does not seem to list any trim packages at all. Later on the Seville name was a high end packaged Sunline.

We have a Sunline history guru here with the screen name, Sunline Fan. He could possibly know what the Seville meant back in 1984. And he is better at the VIN numbers then I am.

Hope this helps and let us know how this goes.

John

Seville didn't exist until 1986, and never on a trailer that short. Maybe the rock guard from a newer Sunline was swapped onto this one?
