First outing in our Nellie Belle!

Last summer we posted pics of our new purchase, a 1983 Sunline T1550, and we spent the summer working on her to get her ready to travel for a September vacation. Sadly, due to an unexpected eye surgery Nellie had to be winterized and tarped over without ever seeing the open road even once! The good news is that this past weekend we took her to the Charlie Brown Campground in Eastford Connecticut for her initial outing and we had the BEST time ever for a long weekend! We can't say enough about the campground itself and although we were the smallest AND oldest camper there, we were thrilled to the moon with Nellie and the way she performed. We have two more long weekends planned and a week long trip to Maine in September. We love our Nellie and here are some pics we promised long ago.

Thanks for the kind words. We absolutely love our Sunline. The campground was in Eastford Ct. " Charlie Brown Campground " Family oriented, family run and owned. Very quiet, extremely clean. When they say it's "quiet time at 10 pm" its really quiet time!! :grin: We plan to go back several times this summer before we go to Maine in September.
