Recently purchased a Sunline 2003 and it only had one key for the door, I got other keys made for the compartments but am having trouble finding someone to make me a spare key or two for the main door. The key that I have now has black rubber on the back and I don't know if that is why no one can make me one or not. Do I need to go to a RV dealer? I tried Lowes and Home Depot. Thanks for any advice.

When we bought our T-320SR, the dealer gave us a couple of extra keys. Our fifth wheel came with two keys, but I always like having spares. If you have a local locksmith, they should have the blanks you need.

If you have the Fastec keys any you have your key code, you can order the key you need directly from the following website:

Bitted Keys for Fastec FIC Quick-Core RV Locks (Key-HF)

I ordered spare keys from them and the order was filled quickly and they keys were received within about a week.

Hey Bill!
The keys to our F-311 have a "CF" code on them. Do yours have the "HF" code?

My keys have the CF code, does that mean that when I order a key from that place, they will send me a blank key? FIC brand.

The keys to our F-311have the EF code on them. However, from what I understand the letter codes can be ignored. Therefore a CF300 code and HF300 code and an EF300 code are all the same key. When I ordered the spare keys I ordered them with the HF code and they worked perfectly.

Here is another website where you can order the keys and part way down the page is where it says to ignore the first two letters.

Key Blank, Cut FIC Lock Keys, FIC BLACK, Key Blanks, Camper, RV Keys

The issue with the Home Depot and Lowes is that the new key cutting machines they have take a cassette to hold the key. And they have no cassette for our camper keys.

If you have a local lock smith or an older hardware store that has the older machines where they trace over the key, they can cut them. Many RV dealers have the blanks even if they cannot cut them. Also cargo trailer sales places.

Last year in Old Forge NY while camping, small town in the Adirondacks, I went into the local hardware/lumber store and sure enough he had one of the older machines. I had been carrying around my spare key blanks for year until I bumped into someone.... Now I have 4 sets and 1 set is hid in the truck. Nothing like breaking into your own camper because you lost the key in the woods....

PS Good reason to go to the ADK Meet and Greet. Bring your camper key blanks to the local Ace Hardware store on main street.

After several failed attempts by my local locksmiths to cut working keys, I ordered cut keys from FIC. Two days later and less than $10 (four years ago), I had the two sets of spares I wanted and best of all they worked!!!!

Question: my baggage compartments on my winnie have B&S locks. they take the 1595 key, of which the 1098/LL etc key is NOT a replacement. Anyone know who has that particular blank?
