I was reading in the paper the other day that snowbirds are here early this year. Hope they have pulled up roots and are heading to the West Coast of Florida. It looks like there will be high winds, rain, flooding and power outages for most of the Eastern portion of the state.

Beverly & Jim,

Be safe and here's hoping the track of the hurricane is a more easterly track sending it more out to sea to spare you guys.

I prefer our snow storms over hurricanes and tornadoes :D

Jim and Bev...I will be thinking and praying for you two and all of my FL,GA and Carolinas friends....hopefully it will head East...

Hutch, Sometimes I prefer snow ... until I see those 12 foot high banks of the white stuff, LOL!

Janalee, We say a quick prayer for you and John with each visit here.

We hope you both are right about the tracking more to the East. "From your lips to God's ears". We are blessed to have a strong house to hunker down in and hope the snowbirds can find safe havens.

The hurricane is gone and all is well here in Sebring. We drove from Sebring to Frostproof and didn't see any damage. Many people from the East Coast came here to be safe. Hope others in the rest of the state made it without damage also.

Jim
