dropped signin

I sign in and it shows me signed in but if I go to second pages my sign in disappears. I try to re-sign in but can't from the page showing me dropped. Can only get in on front pages. I'm using the new Windows10 if that makes a difference with IE11.

I'm on an iPad using Safari and am also having sign in problems.

We recently mad ea few changes to the sites security and this has likely caused the issue.

On mobile devices:

Clear your devices cache
Cycle your device off and then on

On PC or full browser, be sure to tick the "remember me" box

Thanks for the tip. I have 2 other PC's that have this same issue. Started approx a week or more ago. Both are Win 7 Pro. One using Chrome the other IE.

Will try the "remember me" box and report back.

The "remember me" box also had my sign in dropped but not as bad. When I was dropped I would get the sign in page and do the resign in and sometimes have to do that several times but then when actually doing a post I would get dropped again. Sheesh!!!!

I have roamed and the signin cookie held this morning. Yahooooooo! the cookie to show I have read threads acts funny sometimes. Might clear up in time. have had a few timed out popups from the adverts but that could be a slow internet thing. No problems waiting for good security. Good luck with it and crossing fingers. This has been a great site to roam and I'm sure it will be again.

The "remember me" box worked on my 2 other PC's. These are offsite and not at home.

One thing to remember on a PC that is not your normal PC, uncheck the box and log out to totally unhook. If not, then when the browser is fired up and on this site, the site is auto logged in. This may or may not be what you want.

John, I do delete history/cache/cookies whenever I'm online. My computers at home are all set to automatically delete items when I close the window so when I'm through surfing I can simply close the window instead of going through TOOLS to do it.


Since I usually do not hang here very long I don't click to remember me and I expect to be dropped after a time of not doing anything but the sign in would last if I keep busy. The site seems to be werking pretty good for me now. Thanks crew.

It's been working fine for me for now. All I did was shut down and restart my iPad.
