Dometic RM 661 Freezer door hinges Wont stay up

Hello
I am having problems with our freezer door not staying shut. It seems there is no tension to hold the door closed. Are these replaceable?

There is a spring in the freezer door that holds it shut and that is replaceable. Any good RV shop can get them for you or there are several online sources as well. PPL has been recommended by some folks. This link will get you to their catalog instruction page and just follow the instructions and look up your fridge. When you get there, look in the sub link for cabinet assembly. The springs are listed there for both left hand and right hand doors. There is also a diagram of each major sub-assembly of the fridge.

Just about every brand and model of RV fridges are listed there so it is a good resource. It looks like they can get nearly any part for any item you might need.
