Hello! Excited to be here and become a part of the Sunline community. I’m Sarah and my husband Shawn and I are planning on moving into our newish-to-us 1995 Solaris TT early next year and head out of Massachusetts where we live to see more of the country. We’ve been camping on weekends to figure out what In the world we are doing and trying to get as prepared as possible for our big jump into becoming full timers. Would love to hear any tips or tricks for setting in and making the Solaris feel like home and things newbies should be aware of! We are equal parts nervous and excited and know we have a lot to learn!

Welcome Sarah and Shawn!!

Congrats on your new sunny!

If you are going to jump into full timing and traveling, how far are you planning to go? Meaning approx miles per month/year?

Reasoning for asking this is, if you are going to be parked for much of the year at a new location, that is a different set of camper needs then one that you will travel many miles all the time.

Have you had anything on the camper mechanically/ electrically checked out to see what operating condition it is in? If so, what was checked?

The ideal is to get the camper prepared to make your journey with no breakdowns along the way. It is much easier to deal with camper issues at home then on the road. We can help you on what to look for, or what areas to hire someone to look for, but need to know a little more about your travel plans and the status of your camper now.

Hope this helps and congrats on planning your journey. Getting a good amount of camping in now before you head out is a great start!

John
