I have a 1999 Sunline 24 foot Solaris. The digital display at the top of the radio is not showing any numbers, or stations. The power light does go on.

Has anyone experienced this and any suggestions what I need to do?

Hi,

I had the same problem with a 1998 2363. Seems like the digital display loses its "liquid" so as to display the numbers. While the radio and tape player were still functional, we up graded to the new Jensen AM/FM/CD/DVD/iPod radio. A little wood work adjusting was necessary for the install, but nothing major. Found the unit on line for less than $200, new in the box. CW has the same radio on sale right now for $330. Another plus of the Jensen is that it has Weather Band also which comes in real handy. Upgraded the speakers at the same time to handle the 132 watts of the radio.

I've heard of that happening, Steve Collins was the first that I knew of. The one in the '98 I had a few years ago did the same thing, but I seem to recall if I got on the floor and looked up at it on an extreme angle, I could faintly see some type on the screen, enough to set the station anyway. The radio worked fine otherwise and the trailer I think had very little use, so I don't think it was because it was used a lot.

I had the same problem in my 1999 T-2570. Jon is right, if you looked REAL careful at certain angles you could make out the numbers. But it was pretty much useless, so I just connected an aux input via the RCA jacks in the back and used my iPod after that...

Has anyone had success obtaining decals for their 1999 sunline. Either the solaris sun/tree decal or the side green and purple runner?
