do we use tarps or buy a TT cover..

Laird,

I guess covering is really a personal preference. If you do cover, I suggest you DO NOT use tarps. Tarps don't really breathe like RV covers do, so really the RV covers are best. I prefer the kind that have tarp material on the top, front, and rear, but have a breatheable material on the sides. I do prefer to cover, but again, that's just personal preference. Really though, indoor storage is the ultimate best.

Laird,

I almost forgot. If you cover, make sure you get some foam pipe insulation and cut pieces to fit on the gutter ends, awning ends, slide gutter ends, etc. These points are very sharp and will tear your cover on the first windstorm.

the first two years of owning our sunline we covered it with a rv cover during the winter,I warn you that these covers do rub the lap sealant seam along the roof, has not done any damage to the lap sealant but it has rubbed it all black, last winter I did not cover it due to the fact that I did not like how the cover was rubbing everything black.
