Good morning,
I am wondering what type of cookware everyone uses? I am looking at either lodge cast iron or greenlife. Wondering what holds up better with the gas stove.
Thank you and happy Sunday!

I have a set of nesting pans with detachable handles from Camping World. Before I got them I just used an old set of pots from the house. Anything will work fine. I have 1 medium size Lodge pot for stews, but I sure wouldn't want to lug around a whole bunch of those. They weigh a ton!

We use thin, stainless pots-n-pans. Tried aluminum but they warped and didn't sit right after awhile and they "looked yuckie" after storing for awhile. Stainless has been good now for a long time.

We have a mixture. Cast iron with the Dutch Oven, use either with charcoal or on the outside gas stove. We have some aluminium griddles,/frying pans, heavy reinforced and we have some stainless pots.

It is most common to start out using the cheap stuff. After a while, you get fed up with the cheap stuff and buy something better. You really do not need super high end, more like middle of the road cookware. Skip the cheap stuff as you will get fed up with it if you do a lot of cooking at the camper.

I use all of our cookware on an outside gas stove or the inside gas range top Sunline put in. We have cooked years ago in the farm house on a gas stove. Gas give you heat instantly. Need to remember that too. It takes a while to get use to, but works great once you have sorted out the heat.
